Accessibility

Version: July 2026 · Last updated: July 2026

One Jewish Step aims to make the website clear, readable and accessible for different users, including people with disabilities.

We develop the site as an online platform and consider accessibility requirements in navigation, text, buttons, forms, mobile experience and the user journey.

Accessibility approach

We use applicable web accessibility principles as a working standard, including Israeli Standard 5568 and the WCAG AA approach as a practical target for site development.

In practice, this means clear page structure, readable text, sufficient contrast, accessible links and buttons, keyboard navigation support, meaningful text alternatives for important images and a usable mobile experience.

What the site already considers

As One Jewish Step develops, we pay attention to clear headings, logical page order, understandable actions, readable text sizes, contrast, mobile adaptation and the ability to complete the main user journey without unnecessary complexity.

We also aim to make important links, forms and buttons understandable and usable for people navigating with a keyboard or assistive technologies.

Pages include a skip-to-content link, visible keyboard focus, keyboard-operable menus, focus restoration and support for the reduced-motion preference.

Current status

One Jewish Step is in active development. We continue improving pages, forms, texts, visual elements and user journeys.

If any part of the site is difficult to use, hard to read, unavailable by keyboard or prevents access to the materials, please contact us. We will review the issue and add the required fix to our working plan.

Physical locations

At this stage, One Jewish Step operates as an online project and does not have a physical office or visitor reception location open to the public.

If physical meetings, events or visitor locations are offered in the future, relevant accessibility information will be published separately.
